JDG’s traditionally trained Craftsmen are simply so much more professional and skilled than the average “Block Layer”, that they have successfully carried out works at The Tower of London, Heveningham Hall & St Katherine’s Docks.

While JDG acknowledge that even a reasonably competent DIY’er can lay a small area of pre-cast concrete paving to a standard which may be acceptable at first glance, it takes many, many years of training and a true Craftsman to “dress” natural stone and lay it in the traditional manner.

There are genuinely only very few Paving Contractors that we would consider our equals in the specialised field of “Natural Paving”. As we have now successfully completed many projects of this nature which, are available for viewing by such an international audience, we might even go so far as to suggest that our reputation could arguably be considered “worldwide”!

We have also completed several “Natural Stone” projects for clients at their own homes and many have found that a truly “Natural” product such as Yorkstone, Granite or Sandstone is not actually as expensive as they had thought. All of our customers who specified “Natural Stone” paving certainly considered it a worthwhile investment!
